Green Tea Cake

       Green Tea Pound Cake
 Combine the cake flour, pastry flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt

In a large bowl, beat the soft tub spread and brown sugar with an electric mixer on medium speed until fluffy.

Add egg whites and beat well

Mix in the buttermilk, green tea, and vanilla.

Mix in the flour mixture until just combined

Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until the top begins to brown and a toothpick comes out clean when inserted in the middle of the cake

Wait 5-10 minutes to cool then remove.

  1. This is an awesome post . I enjoyed it because its food and because its green tea pound cake which is awesome i was in cooking for 2 years and this would have been one of my favorite recipes to cook if i knew about it but besides that i really enjoyed the post and I'm even gonna try it at home , looks like the perfect this to have with green eggs and ham and it looks surprisingly easy to make other than that i love that blog keep it up and keep posting.

  2. This sounds so yummy! I love green tea, its my favorite. I really like the simplicity of it. It looks like a recipe that would be easy enough to try at home. Also, the crunchy chick peas sound amazing, i'll have to try that too lol good job on your blog and thanks for sharing.
